The thing I appreciate most about the iPhone 3G is the attention to detail.  For example, my friend cannot turn off the screen on his Samsung Instinct while in a call.  This is horrible for battery life as well as Bluetooth calls.  The iPhone, however, turns off the screen automatically when the phone is taken away from your face.

I also love the Google maps along with all of the new applications that can be purchased.  Who would have thought a phone could do so much?  The new iPhone 3G can surf the net, make phone calls, manage my calendar and contacts, and send emails all in one.  This device has organized my life.
